Robert Harris Chapman was born in Highland Park, Ill., in 1919 and died in 2000. He graduated from Princeton University in 1941 and began his professional career at Harvard University in 1950. He became a professor of English literature and was an accomplished playwright, a theatrical consultant, and Director of the Loeb Drama Center at Harvard. F. Scott Fitzgerald was born Sept. 24, 1896 in St. Paul Minnesota. He began writing while a student at Princeton University. He met his wife, Zelda, while serving in the US Army stationed in Alabama. His novel, This Side of Paradise, was published in 1920 and he became an instant success. He published he Great Gatsby in 1925. Fitzgerald died on December 21, 1940 of a heart attack at age 44 while living in Los Angeles and working for the film industry....
